Author Spotlight: Kim Stewart

Kentucky author Kim Stewart is an avid reader who loves to tell stories. Little Frog and the Butterfly fluttered around in her imagination for years before she finally finished it and other stories for her little girls. Look for her next book, Ruby Redlaw, Lonesome Soul, later this year.

Stewart got her start in writing as a news reporter and editor. Eventually, she left the news business to focus on raising two daughters and writing books. She crafts characters who are independent, thoughtful, and always willing to learn from their mistakes. In addition to her own projects, Stewart helps other new authors realize their dreams. She does developmental editing, proofreading, design, and research. She loves the creativity and variety of books that come her way.
